In the case of exempt employees, too many companies have still not come to terms with the fact that these individuals are paid for the work they do and not for the hours they work. At home or in the office is a function of their job and should not be based some arbitrary requirement. Managers should learn how to do their job!

The answer depends on your workforce. Are they all in one location. In the office may have a lot of benefits

If your workforce is in 17 different time zones and 70+ countries then flexible hours and flexible in office/at home policy is much better

If you force me to do 10 hours in the office I’m not sure how willing I’d be to take a meeting at 10pm or 11pm with colleagues in India, Japan, Australia or China

Most of the application team I lead is in Brazil and the global IT leadership (US-based) now wants to move some of that work to a new global delivery center in India to be more cost effective, but I have doubts. I'm curious what tools or combination of tools you're leveraging as a company to drive productivity around building slides/PPT decks. A top pain-point we hear is how much time people spend working on PPT decks, in the minutia (copying and pasting content from other sources, or to get it into a new template, formatting text, colors, etc.) instead of focusing on the ideas and messages. How have you been able to create efficiencies with automation and AI in PowerPoint workflows?
