I honestly still struggle with the concept of SASE, as opposed to SSE. The former tries to merge SSE with SDWAN, and I'm  little skeptical whether that really makes that much sense. Maybe it does if you're building a greenfield network, but if your SDWAN evolved from a traditional WAN, and your SSE stuff came from legacy VPNs, SWGs and the like, I don't see them merging very cleanly.
