Can anyone recommend an MSP that would monitor and manage networks, servers and storage globally? They would also need to provide boots on the ground for emergencies or needed support.  We are a ~2,500 employee company that has 32 locations in the US, South America, Europe and Thailand. We are getting too big and too broad to support using an in-house infrastructure team and are looking at expanding our team utilizing an MSP.   Wanted to see if anyone here is using someone that they would recommend providing services that would stretch that global footprint. We currently have an MSP that does support in the US, but we need to expand that into the rest of the world and allow for hands-on support as needed. Hopefully some others have a similar footprint and have a great recommendation.

Mr. Freire, Gustavo (+55 61 99995 3332) -

I have worked with a Managed Service Provider named Marco and they are based in Nebraska but function globally. U was pleased with their customer service and response time.

If you need additional details, please advise.

Definitely interested in hearing what people have to say on this topic. The mid-market global support market can be really challenging. Thanks for bringing this up!

There are a number of MSP's out there that will market themselves to do just this.  However, I would recommend leveraging Gartner's research not only for who works those markets, but also for putting together the RFP so you get the service you actually need.  We are of a comparable size and international footprint looking heavily into MSP's and going through the Toolkit to define the needs, what questions to ask, and how to compare vendors has been huge.

Here is a link to the toolkit specific to MNP that I found very useful: https://www.gartner.com/document/4020367

We are starting our scope at the network infrastructure, but are looking to engage an MSP that we'd be able to expand scope.  I'd be curious to stay in touch to learn from your existing MSP engagement and share how our process has gone.
