I suppose it depends on what kind of software development you're doing. There are probably some large scale defense or government practices in the US that might think using ISO9001:2015 is still relevant for software engineering, but I haven't seen them since I trained as an ISO9001 auditor back in the mid-90's. Modern software development is all some flavor of agile and you'd be hard pressed, I imagine, to find any developer interested in an ISO9001-based process.
