It’s all about value to the customer. What need are you able to address better/ faster/ cheaper (or what need are you able to create and fulfill) that you haven’t been able to address before. A new product, a new service, new insights, a new combination of technologies/ products, etc.
Listen to your customers and understand what improves their experience.
Continue to innovate products and change the business models, technology will enable to get there.
New technologies will become a more frequent thing as we move towards the future and are going to continue like that for years to come. But embrace new tech, focus on customer experience - that will become more rewarding, right collabs will give an edge to products and companies, and sustainability.
Technologies changes but way to innovate remains same. It's a competitive landscape but these emerging technologies bring lots of powerful capabilities as well. So, I think it gets balanced.
