Do your frontline employees complete annual performance reviews? Our frontline employees already have monthly conversations with their leader to review metrics/performance. Since conversations happen throughout the year, we are interested in removing these employees from the annual review process but would love to know if other companies follow a similar approach.

Yes. All of our employees participate in the annual performance reviews. This time is also used to set goals for the upcoming year that align with their personal, professional, and company-wide goals.
Our managers do meet with our frontline employees throughout the year and we also keep track of their metrics, but our frontline employees do complete assessments and our managers complete annual reviews and are rated. We are a Pay for Performance company so their rating is factored into their merit increase each year.
Hi, All of our employees still get the annual performance review even though some do receive the monthly conversations with metrics, etc. The annual review isn't just about how the person performed, but it is also a time to discuss their career goals and other goals and a time to discuss any big changes and the next year's goals in a one on one environment.
Hi - all our employees get an annual performance and development review that sets their objectives, identifies their development needs for the coming year and gives an opportunity to explore career aspirations and have a career conversation. In addition, managers are encouraged to have regular 121s throughout the year. This activity is more sporadic although we are exploring currently how we could embed this practice more widely and consistently.
