I am looking for some suggestions on Project Management Solutions. This solution should provide things like: - Support both Waterfall and Agile methodologies - Automation workflows - Task Breakdowns - Integrates with Microsoft 365 technology stack.   We are a $10B Financial Institution currently using SmartSheet looking to evaluate a newer and more scalable solution.

Azure DevOps has decent connectivity with Microsoft365.  While it's not designed for waterfall, there's nothing that prevents you from using it that way.  There's a plethora of plugins and customizations that may help you do what you want.  I agree with Pranay below, there may not be one single provider that can check all the boxes.

Thanks Drew. We use DevOps for our Software Development team right now. We have a PMO office that is currently looking at tools for larger projects that they will be running in more of a Waterfall manner. They currently use SmartSheet and looking to put that up against other options available.

Jira is one of the ones we are looking at Derek! Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, I don't think we are in a spot to take on something like ServiceNow at this time

There are multiple solutions in the market. I suggest looking at the need from the work activity perspective and insights you want. Answer may not be in only one tool but a combination. I am more than happy to get on a call to talk further on this.
