That is quite a broad question - so the broad answer is the biggest impact (ignoring ai applications in testing/validation/etc) is AI providing research candidates. Until recently there was generally an abundance of target molecules for the potential candidate molecules. AI has turned that on its head by being able to provide a large number of potential candidates for the target, and those lists of candidates will only get more accurate and precise as the technology progresses.
