We use AI to develop scenarios for trainings. It is very effective and much more efficient. You put the details in and tweak the results. Like others we use Articulate and their AI tools and Linked In Learning.
We are also using AI, where it makes sense, and after removing all identifying information, to analyze data gathered from groups. If we are doing retreats with the groups, we put the data in during the session in real time and let them see the themed results. That's exciting to people and teaches them how to use the tools.
We are using AI a few different ways, but the scope and scale isn't big for us yet. For internally developed e-learning, we use Articulate and their AI tools. The biggest lift for us there has been the AI generated voice-overs, which are pretty good and saves time and effort in doing it ourselves. It also has a AI Image generator and a text generator that we use when needed.
We are also a LinkedIn Learning user and they have rolled out some AI role plays that are fantastic. For example, you can have a coaching conversation an AI Chat Bot and it will give you actionable feedback at the conclusion of the role play.
We have used tools like Copilot to help generate participant guides and powerpoint slides.
On the LMS front, our LMS has some AI tools around skills and course recommendations for employees based on those skills.
Thank you Scott for sharing insigths. Along the similar lines, we are exploring AI tools built into Coursera. We do have some internal AI tools and we are trying to figure out how we can use those tools for content authoring, creating personalized learning expereince, etc. Very early in our journey.
I was tasked by our CEO to create an AI learning strategy for our organization. In partnership with our L&D Partner we conducted extensive research, used LinkedIn Learning, and internal SMEs to gather information to create the program.
We developed and just launched our training program based on these four pillars:
- Company AI Readiness: Equip every employee with foundational AI fluency through eLearning, live sessions (Company & department specific training), and accessible resources (built out an Intranet page with info and links to LinkedIn trainings).
- Department Enablement & Adoption: Deliver targeted, role-specific training and support via curated content, team-based sessions, onboarding podcasts and embedded AI Champions.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation Culture: Inspire experimentation and share success through use-case showcases, peer-led sessions, and an annual .AI Award.
- Responsible AI Governance: Ensure ethical, secure, and compliant AI use with clear policies, an AI Council, and proactive risk monitoring.
I am happy to share more with anyone!
