Hi, we are not yet focusing on % but focusing on the quality of the talent reviews.  Your % will depend on the population you are measuring, do you target your full work force or only senior management? In my case my target is 50% of top talent in senior management roles by 2030. Senior Management here is Director and above in a 15,000 workforce and is our top 200 only. Then within the top talent we will further narrow it down to the true high potentials (those with the highest learning agility) there the % will be much lower.

Hi, Ingrid. Can I please ask for clarification - your target is to have half of your senior management roles populated by HiPos? If so, that makes sense, as when goes higher in the organisation, one could argue that the most talented rise up.

Hi Gene, no the plan is actually to make sure that we have 50% of our top talent in senior management roles who are then to be involved in developing our High Potentials to safeguard future succession planning. So we discuss top talent from High Potentials
