Our talent recruiters are being challenged in that candidates are using gen AI tools in real-time during live pre-screen and remote interviews. They are challenged on how to address this or to get 'real' information from the candidate-how are you addressing this?

We’re seeing similar challenges. Our recruiters are using more camera-on screens to detect if candidates rely on real-time AI for answers. When addressed, some candidates openly admit they use AI during interviews—just as they would on the job.
Our next step is to align as an organization on what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable AI use in interviews and publish clear guidelines.
If you haven’t seen it, check out Zapier’s candidate guidance on their careers site—we’re considering a similar approach as a starting point.

Interesting challenge indeed. I would really focus on the person behind the profile so ask specific behavorial questions that require candidates to draw on their past experiences, values, motivation or personal preferences.

Invest in having your recruiters observe certain behaviors, have them really pay attention to non-verbal cues and the candidate's overall engagement during the interview. Does your recruiter feel they are diverting to another screen?

Ask follow up questions on what they initially shared, nobody can do that and scrolling back up to their initial answer ;-).

Also rephrase your initial question.
