We use Yodeck (https://www.yodeck.com/) for the signage internal to our building.  Pretty reasonable rates (can do free as well but it's limited), easy to manage/maintain and reliable service.

If you're a Zoom shop, there is a free signage module.

I am also interested in this topic.  I'm currently looking to get cost estimated for budgeting purposes for a centralize, cloud-based digital signage system for our university, that can integrate with our emergency alert system (Alertus), enable SSO login, and allow delegating permissions to users/departments for content on their TVs.

Hi John, at Brown University we use Screencloud and they do integrate with our emergency alert system, though we have to manage all the signs in one central space to do it most easily (each department still has their own space and manages their own content). We're finding it's a very user friendly system and easy to deploy, and flexible to add new signs. Feel free to reach out, happy to talk more about our setup.
