Only one 😬

Thoroughly understand the vendor's pricing model and make sure it aligns with your needs and usage patterns. For each cloud vendor, it's critical to understand the various pricing tiers and options available, such as pay-as-you-go versus reserved instances, and negotiate accordingly. You should also ensure that the contract terms include the flexibility you need for scaling up or down as your needs change, as well as clear service level agreements (SLAs) with penalties for downtime or other service disruptions. This is an area that a consultant can be highly effective at getting what you want & understanding market conditions.

Finally, required for any contract - have a solid understanding of the security and compliance posture to ensure that your company's data is protected and meets any regulatory requirements.
