It would be helpful to have more context on what visualization means in this context. From the image generation/ visualization perspective, at Google we offer Imagen 3 on Vertex AI which brings Google's state of the art image generative AI capabilities to application developers. We recently announced the availability of customization and editing for Imagen 3, expanding the use cases for image generation even further. Customers like Puma are using Imagen to customize product photos on their website, saving time and ensuring they are locally relevant. Puma India has already seen a 10% increase in click-through rate. Vertex AI Model Garden also offers a wide range of image generation models from the open ecosystem which can be fine tuned by our customers to meet their specifications.
If more information can be shared on the meaning of visualization strategy, we are happy to respond again.
GenAI is a game changer, making it easier to address some of the existing challenges in the industry, especially in processing natural language and rendering data in plain text. The tech team can focus on strategic enhancements, while the business side can bypass technical dependencies to gain insights and make data-driven decisions. However, regulatory, ethical, and data privacy considerations must be factored in to ensure that neither PII nor confidential information is exposed to the model. In discussions with peers across industries, as a strategic approach many are building in-house LLMs to manage costs and data sensitivity, keeping these models completely private.
Generative AI offers numerous capabilities that can be tested and deployed based on specific use cases. Our strategy for the next year or two focuses on leveraging Gen AI with contextual machine learning models. Given the rapid evolution of AI, we are cautious about forming a long-term vision based solely on current capabilities and prefer not to build everything on them.
Key drivers for the strategy around user experience and analyst experience is Automation, reduce mean time to investigate and respond by leveraging GenAI capabilities to generate context and chain related events, entities without user intervention and provide appropriate remediation suggestions for each scenario. Additionally, allow highly sensitive customers to leverage GenAI capabilities running in silo on-prem without leveraging cloud/saas infrastructure.
We are very excited about our 2025 product roadmap that includes many features around Productivity, Extensibility, Self Service and Insights. As it relates to our visualization strategy, we continue to build on Vena Insights (Power BI embedded and productized for FP&A) and their AI-powered visualizations. This also includes more out-of-the-box visual dashboards that are configured to your Vena data model with a few clicks. We will also be investing more in Vena Copilot (built on Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Services) to generate data insights, Vena mapped reports and visual insights with a deeper integration point to Microsoft 365 Copilot.
