This really depends what perspective this is coming from. For an individual looking around, there is a big gap of missing data. Glassdoor/etc and even other employees are not a great source for accurate information.

Think about it right now what is your salary? If you’ve been anywhere for a bit, I can tell you that you’re rounding for sure even if you’ve kept track of exactly what the culmination of raises have been.

If this is an company focused question when setting up job families and such there’s a lot to consider about alignment etc that makes this a great effort to do & often a proprietary effort. I.e. make friends with HR Business Partners in the industry you are working!
