Hiroshi Kameyama joined Matsumotokiyoshi Co. after graduating from university in 1995. He gained on-the-ground experience at the Ueno Ameyoko store, heading the cosmetics and personal care department and handling orders, sales shelf arrangement, and check-out. He then earned an MBA in the US, and after returning to Japan, worked at Abeam Consulting and then the Fujitsu Research Institute. At those firms, he gained experience in a variety of areas, including retail, dining, food wholesale, manufacturing of food and cosmetics, reform of service industry operations, system planning, and project management. He then joined Amazon Japan G.K., where as leader of the cosmetics division he contributed to business growth through deployment of new technology. In November 2015, he joined Starbucks Coffee Japan as the head of Information Systems. He has worked on the Starbucks Rewards™ Program, the Roastery Project, and a mobile order and pay project, in partnership with the business division. He has held his current position since November 2016. His favorite beverage is soy latte (venti® size).
