In this talk, Ana Carolina Chaves Machado de Morais, CIO of the Court of Accounts of the State of Pernambuco (TCE-PE), shares how collaborative integration between Information Security, Risk Management, and organizational strategy transformed the Court’s operations, breaking down silos between technical and executive areas and positioning security as a central element in delivering essential services to society. The adoption of regular dialogue forums and OKR-based methodologies connected security goals to key institutional outcomes, raising transparency, agility, and risk management maturity. With greater senior management engagement, reduction of critical incidents, and strengthening of the data protection culture, the Court became a reference in digital governance, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and public trust in a scenario of growing threats.
