The Board of Directors and company leadership rely on her to ensure that the company is responsibly identifying and managing its risks. She reports directly to the Audit Committee of Microsoft’s Board, preserving the independence of her function.
Julia brings more than 30 years of experience as a global CFO and finance executive at Microsoft and Procter & Gamble. She has delivered billion-dollar outcomes through growth, cost management, and transformation strategies. Her expertise spans corporate finance, strategic transactions, capital management, internal controls, and risk management. She has led global organizations in both developed and emerging markets and is known for building diverse, inclusive, and highly engaged teams.
Julia holds degrees in Economics from Cambridge University and is a Chartered Management Accountant. Originally from England, she has lived and worked across Europe and North America. "
