Is your company more likely to invest in hiring for particular technical skills or training the existing team on those skills?

We are much more likely to hire but I’m not aligned with that strategy. I prefer to train and invest in employees in the hopes they stay with the company. I’ve found long term employees have more insight into what will be successful, they have more knowledge of business lines, and know key people to get buy in, participation and cooperation
