Job titles question: does anyone have three different levels of Vice Presidents in their organisation? e.g. Executive Vice Presidents (C-suite), Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents? Trying to understand if this is used or strange to have so many different levels of VPs.

I used to work in a big US Banks, they have MD, ED / SVP and VP.  ED and SVP are on the same rank.  MD is usually the Business Head and ED or SVP is one level down.  I think it is useful to have the different ranks, not just of differentiate the scope of responsibilities but also provide a skeleton for career progression.
