For the past decade, workload placement was seen as cloud versus on-premises, optimized for cost and latency. But, this model is now breaking down. This session explores current workload placement dilemmas, evaluated against three strategic postures: where to run, rent and rethink. We'll review the signals that indicate which posture fits, the cost of misplacement, and how to reassess decisions as workloads and infrastructure evolve. Attendees will learn which workloads to anchor internally, place with external providers or redesign before making placement decisions.
