What "company directory" (people, org chart, team assignments) solution have you adopted at your company that you are happy with? Bonus points if it includes in the scope FTE and contractors. Ideally this is outside of the traditional company directory that Workday or Peoplesoft offers. We use Paylocity. There is an integrated company directory and an org chart. It's easy to use and works well for our needs.

We use Workday as core HR system that reflects the entire org structure from our CEO down. In the past I used SuccessFactors. Due to the key processes that are linked to your org chart and trying to avoid as many separate applications for people to access to keep master data clean, I do know I won't get bonus points with my reply ;-) but putting ourselves in the shoes of a manager or a non-HR expert, ideally you store this kind of master data in 1 application that feeds other.

We use two solutions. For the org chart we use whimsical. For the actual directory, we use the Contacts on the Google Business Suite.
