Prior to joining Gartner, Mario was enterprise security architect at a global semiconductor company, advising clients on and implementing a wide range of security solutions. He has more than 15 years of industry experience in security, risk management and compliance for enterprises, government organizations and consulting firms, and holds multiple advanced degrees in mathematics and computer science. Mario speaks English, Dutch and German.
Bill O'Kane

Bill covers master data management (MDM) for the Enterprise Software Information Management research team. He has particular expertise in MDM program implementation and management, and in using MDM to drive value within enterprise information management (EIM) initiatives. He also covers MDM vendors (including IBM, Informatica and SAP AG) and technologies, and has unique strength in data modeling, quality and governance. With almost 30 years of IT experience, he possesses in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and is a recipient of the Siperian Masters Award for MDM Implementation from Merrill Lynch.

With more than 15 years of industry experience, he has a systematic approach to opportunities and threats in the telecommunications industry, and for adapting information systems to address them. Ansgar Schulte

Ansgar is a former CIO and technology manager with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of industries and in complex, international business environments. His research focuses on IT leadership; IT organizational design; transformational change; IT governance, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; and other strategic challenges.
Before joining Gartner, Ansgar was CIO of Maxxium Worldwide, where he supported business acquisitions and divestitures through IT system and process transformation, shared services, and improved sourcing. He also served as CIO of Italian luxury goods manufacturer Bulgari, facilitating rapid growth, internationalization and product diversification through the implementation of best-of-breed ERP, manufacturing and retail systems. In addition, he has experience in public medical services and in the aerospace, lottery and financial transaction processing industries. He speaks English, German and Italian, and has a master's degree in applied computer sciences.
Vladimir Krasojevic

Vladimir brings more than 25 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, innovation and change management, and business process strategy to the supply chain research team, where he covers supply chain sourcing, logistics, network optimization and planning, including customer-driven supply chains. His research examines supply chain challenges throughout the value chain (manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and logistics service providers). In addition, he has unique insight into supply chain challenges in European and emerging markets.
Before joining Gartner, Vladimir worked as managing director of a supply chain consulting practice and at Philip Morris International, where he received the Philip Morris Award for Excellence. He also worked at the International Institute for the Management of Logistics. Vladimir holds a master's degree in logistics management, a bachelor's degree in multimodal and transport engineering, and a degree in strategy and innovation. Vladimir speaks English, French and Serbian.
Jim McGittigan

Jim covers a wide range of financial and workforce management issues for the CIO research team, including IT budgeting, project financial management, and IT spending, staffing and benchmarking. In his new role, he will also cover IT cost optimization, IT governance, shared services, program and portfolio management and the business value of IT. Jim has led IT finance functions at five different Fortune 500 companies.

Anton Chuvakin

Anton’s research focuses on payment card industry data security standard (PCI DSS) compliance; security information and event management (SIEM) development, implementation and log management; and vulnerability management. His extensive background in security and risk management includes both technical- and business-oriented roles, and he has been a frequent speaker at security conferences around the world.
A prolific author, he has published and contributed to many books on security, including “Security Warrior," "PCI Compliance," "Know Your Enemy II" and the "Information Security Management Handbook," and he has published dozens of papers on PCI DSS, SIEM, log management, correlation, security data analysis and security management. He has also contributed to emerging security standards and served on advisory boards for several security startups. Anton has a Ph.D. in physics and speaks both English and Russian.
Roger Sheng

Roger is based in Shanghai and speaks Chinese (Mandarin and Wu dialects) and Korean.
Jane Feitler

Jane covers supply chain strategy and logistics best practices with a particular focus on U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) supply chains. Prior to joining Gartner, she was a visiting assistant professor at the Naval Postgraduate School, where she taught master's-level supply chain and logistics courses. She has also acted as a supply chain consultant to DoD agencies and has worked for such firms as CSC and Ryder System. She has a Ph.D. in transportation and logistics, and an M.S. in management.
