Ben Seesel is a Vice President, Advisory on the Gartner Financial Services Team. His current work focuses on helping banking IT and business leaders boost value realization from GenAI and agentic AI; pursue digital business transformation; prepare for the impact of emerging technology trends; and enhance digital banking capabilities. He works with technology and business leaders at banks and financial services companies globally. Over his 24 years at CEB and now Gartner, he has advised senior banking executives on issues including how to adopt agentic AI and GenAI; build differentiated digital banking capabilities; prepare for emerging technology trends reshaping financial services; prepare for the future of banking; and communicate the business value of IT to executive stakeholders.
Prior to joining Gartner's Financial Services Practice, Ben spent many years in research, advisory, and business management within CEB, now Gartner's Strategy Practice. He received a degree in History from Haverford College.
