Ganesh Ramamoorthy is a Managing Vice President in Gartner Research based in Gartner's Mumbai office. He manages analysts worldwide in the Emerging Technologies research team, and leads research in the semiconductor, engineering services and the Internet of Things markets.
Mr. Ramamoorthy advises product leaders on emerging technologies and trends, technology and product roadmap development, product messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategy, and competitive landscapes in in semiconductor companies, IoT vendors, system integration and engineering service providers, across technology markets.
He further advises government departments and industry bodies on issues pertaining to semiconductor and electronics industry policy, and IoT policy and standards.
He is a regular invited speaker at various global industry forums on emerging technologies, semiconductors, the IoT, and digital business.
Mr. Ramamoorthy has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry and is an alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, from which he has a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in mathematics.
