Speaker Bio
Scott Arnold is the Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at the Florida Health Sciences Center, Inc., d/b/a Tampa General Hospital.
In his role, Arnold oversees technology, artificial intelligence, analytics, cyber security, clinical engineering and TGH Ventures – Tampa General’s venture company and innovation team. He pushes the advancement of Tampa General’s digital strategy to position the academic health system as a leader in innovation.
Prior to joining Tampa General, Arnold served as a vice president for Mercy Health and held leadership positions with Daleen Technologies, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas Aerospace. Scott serves on the board of directors for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Arnold has an advanced degree from Washington University’s School of Engineering, a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and he’s accredited by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives as a Certified Healthcare CIO, Certified Digital Health Executive and project management professional (PMP).
