What methods can I use to pay?

You may pay with a Gartner marketing conference ticket, credit card or invoice with PO number. Payment must be made prior to the conference or it will be collected upon entrance to the conference.


What is the cost to attend?
Register early for the lowest prices:

Early-bird registration (expires 24 April 2020): ₹56,500 plus taxes

Standard registration: ₹71,500 plus taxes

Public-sector registration: ₹52,500 plus taxes

Gartner clients may contact their account managers for special pricing options or may use a Gartner Marketing ticket as a form of payment.

What is included in the full registration price?

Registration fee includes conference attendance, documentation, a special evening conference, breakfasts and lunches. Click here for details.


What are the conference hours?

Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2020 will officially begin Monday, 08 June 2020 at 7:30 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 09 June 2020.  

Preconference workshops will be held Sunday, 07 June 2020 at 1:00 - 5:15 p.m. and are included with your registration but require preregistration via Gartner Conference Navigator.


When can I pick up my badge at the registration counter?

Registration will be open the following dates and times:

Sunday, 07  June 2020: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Monday, 08  June 2020: 6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Are there any speaking opportunities at the conference?

Speaking opportunities are available for conference exhibitors. If you are interested in exhibiting, you will need to speak with a Gartner exhibitor sales representative. How do I regsister for the conference?

What if I’m having trouble logging into my account?

Resetting your credentials can be done online. Please follow the links and instructions on the login page.


How do I make a hotel reservation?

First, you’ll need to register for the conference before you can book your hotel room. Hotel reservations can then be made by signing into your registration profile and selecting “Book Hotel.” You can also contact the Gartner Conferences team for assistance.

Reservations must be made individually and only by registered attendees. Provisional reservations are not permitted. If you are attending as team and would like to stay together, please email the Gartner Conferences team for additional information.

Please note that reservations at the special Gartner rate can’t be made directly with the hotel. Calls to the hotel will be redirected to the Gartner Conferences team.


Will there be special rates offered by hotels in Mumbai?

Gartner Data & Analytics Summit offer special discounted rates for registered attendees. Hotel rates are subject to 28% tax.


Is a minimum night stay required?

A two-night minimum stay is required.


I received a phone call from someone saying they can offer me a room at a lower rate or at a different hotel. Is this a scam?

Gartner Conferences will always provide notice to attendees and exhibitors when using a third-party provider, such as George P. Johnson (GPJ), as part of the conference administration. Please note: Many of our exhibitors and delegates have been contacted by an organization called Exhibitors Housing Management (EHS) that claims to be affiliated with Gartner. This is a scam and Gartner is in no way affiliated with EHS. If you have registered as an attendee or exhibitor for a Gartner conference and you receive an email from a third-party provider claiming to be contacting you on behalf of Gartner Conferences, please contact the Gartner Conferences team at 000 800 050 verify the third-party provider prior to responding. 


How do I change or cancel my hotel reservation?

Should you need to change or cancel your hotel reservation prior to the housing deadline you can do so by logging into your registration profile or by emailing Gartner Conferences Team. If you need to change or cancel your hotel reservation after the cutoff date, you will need to contact the hotel directly.


What is the hotel cancellation policy?

From the time of booking, you have three business days to cancel your reservation without incurring a cancellation fee. Cancellations made outside of this window and prior to the hotel’s individual cutoff dates will be charged a nonrefundable cancellation fee equal to a one-night stay. After 5:00 p.m. IST on the individual hotels cutoff dates given below, the hotel will charge a nonrefundable deposit of the full minimum night stay. The rate provided at the time of booking and listed in your confirmation email will be the rate charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking for your nonrefundable deposit or cancellation fee, including applicable taxes and fees.

Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival date will result in the cancellation of your entire reservation and will be subject to the cancellation penalty.

Please note: If you cancel your conference registration you will need to cancel your hotel reservation separately.

When will I have access to documentation?

Registered attendees will be informed via email as conference documentation becomes available on Gartner Conference Navigator. This email will include step-by-step instructions to access presentations and select audio-recorded sessions.

Are there returning attendee benefits?          

Yes, all returning attendees have access to exclusive benefits*.

Alumni benefits bump you to the head of the line for important conference features:

What should I do as a first-time attendee?

  • Before you arrive, build your agenda using Gartner Conference Navigator (on your desktop or via our mobile app).
  • Make sure your profile is complete in order to get the best from our profile match feature. Share information about your interests and priorities to discover the sessions that are the best-fit for you.
  • Be sure to register in advance for any roundtables, Gartner one-on-one meetings or workshops you’d like to attend. We also have networking breakfasts and breaks running throughout the conference to help you expand your network.
  • If you need a hand getting started, contact the Conference Concierge Team for assistance. They can create an agenda based on your priorities, recommend exhibitors to connect with and even schedule your Gartner one-on-one meeting.
  • Join us on the Exhibit Showcase during daily receptions so you can meet with the technology leaders in the space and find the solutions you need.


What is the Gartner Conference app and do I need to download it?

Gartner Conference Navigator is our mobile app (available on Android and iOs) that makes it easy for you to navigate and build your personal agenda. Download from your app store, sign in with your log in details and you’ll be good to go. Don’t forget to opt-in to receive push notifications while with us to keep informed of the latest conference updates.


Is my attendance limited if I am not currently a Gartner client?

Absolutely not! As long as you have fully paid your registration fee, you have access to all conference activities open to you along with Gartner session documentation. If you’re interested in becoming a Gartner client, you can visit the Gartner Zone to better understand the benefits you’ll receive.


Are there limited seating sessions that I need to sign up for?

Yes, you will need to sign up in advance for some sessions like workshops, Meetups and roundtables. If you try to register for a session and it is listed as “full” or “closed,” there is still a possibility you can attend. Once at the conference, find the room for that session and arrive there about 15 minutes prior to the session start to have your name added to the waiting list. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Bookings open for these sessions for alumni on 15 May 2020 and for the general public on 07 June 2020.  


What should I wear?

We suggest comfortable shoes — you’ll be doing a lot of walking from your hotel room to the conference space, from session to session and navigating the Exhibit Showcase. Business casual dress is what most attendees opt for, but we also recommend that you dress in layers as the conference rooms can get chilly.

Am I able to purchase a copy of the attendee list?

No, Gartner does not post or sell attendee lists. For more details please review the registration Terms & Conditions.

Please be advised that in the conference industry we often come across fraudulent service providers who claim to be able to offer attendee lists or discounted passes. Gartner has not authorized anyone to contact you on our behalf and we encourage you to avoid these attempts by not engaging with suspicious emails or calls as they are phishing scams.
