Guy Scriven is The Economist’s global business writer. Previously, he was The Economist’s US technology correspondent. Prior to that, he was the climate risk correspondent, writing about the intersection of climate change and business. Before that he was the South-East Asia correspondent, based in Singapore, and worked on the Britain desk. He joined The Economist as a researcher in 2010. He has written for the Britain, Business, International, Europe, Asia and Finance sections. He has a particular interest in data-driven stories and those about the intersection of AI and business.
