Marianne Olsnes has been the Vice President and Country Chair for Shell in Norway since 2020. Prior to this, she led Shell’s global digitalisation programme for Projects & Technology. Since joining Shell in 2002, Olsnes has held a number of leadership positions across the Upstream business, including roles in field development, major projects, and corporate transformation. She holds an MSc in Reservoir Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management. Olsnes is also currently the Chair of Offshore Norway.
