Nicolaj Nørgaard Peulicke is Senior Vice President and CIO at Energinet, Denmark’s transmission system operator, where he leads the organisation’s digital and technology agenda in support of the green energy transition. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning digitalisation, IT strategy, enterprise architecture, information security, innovation, market development and critical infrastructure. Before becoming CIO in 2025, he served for six years as Energinet’s Group Vice President and Chief Digital Officer and previously held senior roles at Bankdata and Energinet. Nicolaj brings extensive board experience and currently serves on the boards of Lindoe Offshore Renewable Center, Nordic RCC and Energinet Datahub A/S. His previous board and advisory roles include EnergiCERT, Gas Storage Denmark and Ajour System A/S. He combines strategic technology leadership with practical governance experience, focusing on secure innovation, organisational transformation and responsible adoption of AI at scale.
