Tomas Nielsen is a Research Director in Gartner's Office of the CIO Research team. Mr. Nielsen helps Gartner clients turn ideas, visions and objectives into actionable strategies. Specifically, he focuses on turning business ideas, IT visions and organizational objectives into actionable digital business transformation strategies, IT strategies and organizational design. Consequently, his research focuses on digital business leadership, and transformation and IT strategy. Furthermore, he is the Gartner Key Initiative Lead for IT Organizational Design. He is also part of the CIO Survey team, working extensively with the CIO Survey and the results from the survey.
