Iwane Kato is a Senior Managing Partner with Gartner Consulting and manages the FSI sector in Japan. In this role, Mr. Kato works with senior banking leaders at the top banking institutions to enhance business performance through competitive business and market strategies and operational efficiencies through effective use of technology and business processes. He has more than 25 years of experience in business and IT consulting services and is acting as an experienced practitioner. His experience to date has included helping top banking institutions to maximize business value of IT through a combination of research and consulting services focused on evaluation of technology investments, planning and prioritization of initiatives, realization of business benefits, and people and process transformations.
Prior to joining Gartner, he worked with the following companies: McKinsey & Company for two years; Cambridge Technology Partners for three years and Deloitte Touche Consulting for ten years.
