Robert Booz is a vice president and distinguished analyst in the Industries Research area, where he is responsible for monitoring the business and technology trends within the health insurance industry. He specializes in health strategies and technologies affecting the intersection of business and information of health payers. His personal research coverage includes U.S. healthcare reform, product development and implementation, strategic and tactical business and IT transformation, and how changes in health policy affect the overall provision of health products. He has held both executive roles in and consultant roles to health organizations, so he has a practitioner's approach to IT problem solving. He also holds the role of industries service director for the health payer team.

Anthony Bradley is a group vice president in Gartner Research, managing teams that cover business process management, project and portfolio management, enterprise architecture, IT procurement, IT sourcing, and vendor management. He also advises clients on the enterprise employment of social media and social software solutions.

Betsy Burton is a vice president and distinguished analyst in Gartner Research, where she is a member of the Enterprise Architecture team and leads research on business architecture, and business capability modeling. In addition, Ms. Burton is actively involved in research on the "Future of EA 2020," bridging the gap between strategy and execution and integrating business and IT. Previously, Ms. Burton was the role service director for the Gartner Business Intelligence and Information Management product.

“Frank Buytendijk is chief marketing officer at Be Informed. Before that he was a Gartner Research VP, and a VP and fellow at Oracle Corp, running the company's global thought leadership program. Frank is also a visiting fellow at Cranfield University and a regular guest lecturer at London School of Economics. Frank's presentation style is provocative, entertaining and out-of-the-box.

Michele Cantara is a vice president in Gartner Research. Her primary research area is business process management disciplines and technologies. Her current research agenda centers on the use of BPM in outsourcing, SaaS, and cloud computing, as well as the competencies and skills needed to make BPM efforts successful. Her research also focuses on the BPM consulting and SI capabilities of external service providers and software vendors.

Dan Carmel is Head of ECM Strategy and Solutions for Autonomy. Prior to joining HP, Dan was CEO of SpringCM, where he led the creation of what is widely regarded as the leading SaaS Platform for Enterprise Content Management, growing the Company from 1 to over 300 clients in under 4 years. Prior to SpringCM, Dan served as an Executive in Residence at Foundation Capital a leading Silicon Valley Venture Capital firm, and before that as the CEO of Itemfield, which was acquired by Informatica in December 2005. Dan holds a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Eduardo Chiocconi works at SAP Labs as a Technology Solution Manager, leading SAP NetWeaver Business Process Management and NetWeaver Business Rules Management solutions since 2010. Prior to joining SAP, he worked as Product Management on the BPM space for other large software vendor organizations like Fuego, BEA Systems and Oracle Corp with more than 15 years of experience in this market.

Tom Coleman has worked successfully at many organizational levels in manufacturing, information technology, and in process improvement disciplines. Tom worked in manufacturing positions at Motorola and Western Digital leading to the position of Director of Worldwide Planning and Materials. In the information technology area, Tom has held increasing levels of responsibility at Textron, Abex Aerospace, and ABC-NACO including positions such as Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO). Tom currently holds the position of Chief Information and Process Officer at the Sloan Global Holdings in Franklin Park, IL where he is responsible for the Information Technology Group, Sloan’s Business Process Transformation initiative, and he is Sloan’s process owner for the corporate strategic planning process. Tom has presented at many events related to business process transformation and the role of the CIO. Some of these include those for Hammer and Company, Forrester Research, Gartner, the Center for Research in Information Management (CRIM), the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), and the Association of Business Process Professionals (ABPMP). Tom is a frequent speaker to companies embarking on a business transformation journey. Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and he is a Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP).

Helen Z. Cousins has been Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Lincoln Trust Company since 2006. As part of the ownership team, she has led the transformation of the company into an analytical organization by implementing a business process management program encompassing business intelligence and workflow management for the entire organization. Prior to that Helen was SVP and CIO for Dex Media, Inc where she led the enterprise implementation of a new technology platform. As part of the executive team she participated in what was, at the time, the 2nd largest leverage buyout in US history, an IPO and subsequent sale of the company. Prior to joining Dex , Helen was SVP and Corporate CIO at Cendant where she was responsible for orchestrating one of the largest outsourcing deals with a major technology firm as well as leading the IT due diligence and integration for several major acquisitions . She has held several other executive positions managing global organizations, spending her first 25 years on Wall Street with top Fortune 100 / 500 firms. She has won many awards and recognitions for her accomplishments. Most recently, she was named Top Colorado Technology Executive of 2011 by CSIA. Helen graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in accounting and economics from Fordham University and an MBA from Pace University, both located in New York.

Chris Crane is the Director of Microsoft Project and Visio Product Marketing and is responsible for product management, marketing and overall business direction of Microsoft Project and Visio. In this role, he works closely with customers, partners, Microsoft sales and marketing professionals around the world, and the Project and Visio engineering teams. Prior to his current role, he was Director of Pricing and Licensing for the Microsoft Information Worker business and Senior Product Manager in the Microsoft Windows business. In addition to nearly ten years of Microsoft experience, Chris also brings several years of high tech business experience, including living in Singapore and running Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China for a Seattle software company. He holds a BA in history from Bowdoin College and a MALD in international economics and business from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

John Dixon, a Gartner Research director, researches BPM methodologies and supporting technologies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with the intent of providing practical, implementable solutions for Gartner clients.

Matt has over 17 years experience in the telecommunications and utility industries within Finance/Accounting, Information Technology and Customer functional areas, having worked for AT&T Broadband, Time Warner Telecom and currently Pacific Gas and Electric Company based in San Francisco, California. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration and Project Management Professional, ITIL version 3 Foundation and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications. At PG&E, Matt has overseen multiple process improvement/business architecture projects including the management of an enterprise process governance framework and centralized business process repository. Currently, as Principal Business Analyst, Matt is leveraging process and capability modeling to address Strategic Workforce Planning.

Bern Elliot is a vice president and distinguished analyst with Gartner Research. He has been with Gartner for more than 10 years, and he is currently the lead analyst in Unified Communications. He was formerly the lead analyst in Contact Centers. Mr. Elliot's research interests are broad, and they include the areas of communications infrastructure, VoIP, SIP, speech recognition, organizational development, and collaboration issues.

Donna Fitzgerald is the role service director for the Program and Portfolio research area. Her responsibilities include helping companies improve their program and portfolio management capabilities. Ms. Fitzgerald uses her personal experience in setting up and running PMOs, as well as managing programs and project portfolios, to help clients work out the quickest and easiest path to success.

Phil Gilbert is the Vice President of Business Process and Decision Management for the IBM Software Group. He was formerly Lombardi Software's president and CTO. He brings more than 25 years of experience in technology plus 6 years in consulting and executive positions for non-technology businesses. Phil is responsible for IBM's BPM and Operational Decision Management product portfolio and is a recognized visionary in the space. He is a past chairman of the BPM advisory board for OMG and is currently a technical advisor to the Process Knowledge Initiative. Phil graduated as a Pe-et (top ten) senior from the University of Oklahoma in 1978, and he currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the OU College of Computer Science. Phil lives in Austin, Texas.

Ian was founder and CEO of Nimbus, which was recently acquired by TIBCO Software where Ian is now a Vice President. TIBCO is a US quoted provider of discovery, analytics, social media and infrastructure software delivered on-premise or in the cloud. Ian is an early adopter and has been blogging, tweeting and following social media for years. Nimbus was an early adopter of social media inside the organization and saw tangible benefits immediately. Ian is the author of 6 books with a rare ability to make the complex seem simple which makes him a sought after, and entertaining conference speaker.

Samir Gulati is the Vice President of Marketing at Appian Corporation where he has successfully positioned Appian as an innovative leader in the BPM software market. Previously, Samir served as Vice President, Global Marketing for Pegasystems. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years at various divisions at General Electric and at Software AG. Samir holds an MS degree in Computer Science from University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from University of Chicago.

Janelle Hill is a vice president in Gartner Research. Her current research area is business process management disciplines (such as modeling, analysis, measurement, process ownership/governance, etc.) and BPM-enabling technologies. Her current research agenda emphasizes the value of explicit process management techniques in comparison to past implicit (embedded) process management approaches. She also focuses on linking business process improvement objectives to enterprise performance goals, objectives and strategies. She works with BPM vendors, helping them to differentiate their products and expand their market, as well as with end users, helping them to understand the best practices in BPM and make appropriate technology decisions to achieve their process management needs.

Jim Holincheck is a managing VP in Gartner Research, where he manages the team that covers finance, human capital management (HCM) and procurement. He specializes in the HCM systems market. In this role, he helps provide a bridge between technology and human capital processes, practices and strategies.

Simon Jacobson is responsible for Gartner's coverage of manufacturing operations. He researches and works closely with clients on current and future manufacturing strategy, alignment with supply chain IT and business process architectures, and goal alignment and metrics, as well as providing insight and best practices. He examines specific functional capabilities and supporting systems across subjects such as manufacturing execution, enterprise integration, operations intelligence and performance management, and quality management. Mr. Jacobson is frequently quoted in the press and presents often at industry events on such topics as Manufacturing 2.0, Global Quality and MES.

Diane Jaskolka is the Global ERP Process Lead for Arrow Electronics, Inc, a global industrial electronics distributor with annual sales of 16 billion dollars. In this role, she focuses on integrating people, process and technology, leveraging all to transform the organization and deliver business benefits. Ms. Jaskolka brings more than 25 years of experience working in the electronics distribution industry, from front line sales/customer management to designing custom global supply chain solutions for key customers including 3Com, Tellabs and Motorola and Lockheed Martin. In addition to her hands on business experience, she is a company certified Lean Sigma Black belt and has applied process improvement methodologies to optimize customer OTD, quote process efficiency and inventory utilization. Most recently she is focused full time on applying her business experience and lean sigma principles to an enterprise wide Oracle ERP implementation and organizational transformation effort.

Teresa Jones is a principal research analyst in the BPM team, focusing on BPM technologies and vendors.

Ms. Nazlin Kanji is a senior Program Manager with General Dynamics Corporation. Ms. Kanji has an extensive background in systems engineering, strategic business planning, marketing and consulting. Her expertise includes 20 years of international and commercial product development with a keen focus on building innovative technology partnerships across industry to deliver best-of-breed systems solutions for key customers worldwide. Clients have ranged from the UK Ministry of Defense, the US Department of Defense, and the Government of Japan. Ms. Kanji holds an undergraduate in Computer Science from Cal State University, and an MBA from California Lutheran University.

Dr. M.A. Ketabchi founded Savvion in 1994, which Progress Software acquired in January 2010. Under his leadership, Savvion launched the first business process management (BPM) product in 1999. Over the past 15 years, Dr. Ketabchi has been engaged with many Savvion and Progress Software customers and partners, helping them improve their businesses through BPM and BPM-enabled solutions. Dr. Ketabchi is well known for his pioneering research in BPM technologies and methods; process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions; object-oriented database management systems; and application development technologies. A prolific writer and presenter, Dr. Ketabchi has made significant contributions to advancing BPM technologies and process-centric, domain-oriented business solutions.

Russell Keziere is a 25 year software industry veteran, as well as a journalist, broadcaster, analyst, entrepreneur, and frequent speaker at industry events. He joined Pegasystems in 2004 to help launch their fourth generation product line eight years ago, and has helped drive awareness of the potential for a process-based approach to transform work across the enterprise. Prior to working in software, Keziere was an editor and publisher of an international art journal. He lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife and daughter.

Joel Kiernan is Senior Manager of Business Systems Analysis and leads Business Process Improvement effort at Altera Corporation, a global semiconductor solution provider. In this role, he is responsible for the design and maintenance of process and system solutions. Mr. Kiernan has worked in various systems analysis roles for 19 years across retail, aerospace, and currently high technology focusing on sales and marketing processes. He is currently leading the effort to introduce and establish a BPI initiative at Altera. He holds an MBA specializing in Information Systems and BS in Finance.

Kirchmer leads the global BPM-Lifecycle Practice, as well as the program for the development of Accenture’s BPM Reference Models. His special field of expertise is to establish BPM capabilities that deliver both immediate benefits as well as sustainable competitive advantages. Before joining Accenture, Dr. Kirchmer spent 18 years at IDS Scheer, a leading provider of business process excellence solutions, known for its BPM Software, the ARIS Platform. Dr. Kirchmer is an affiliated faculty member of the Program for Organizational Dynamics of the University of Pennsylvania, a faculty member of the Business School of Widener University, Philadelphia, and a guest professor at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago. Hazel Lord is an innovative, results-driven business process and strategic management professional with over 10 years of progressive hands-on experience. With a strong process engineering base, and extensive experience in operations management, she has developed expertise in process architecture development, business process optimization, value chain analysis, process analysis and software requirements development. With cumulative experience in retail and aviation industries, she has developed business process analysis models and support tools used in the design, analysis and optimization of processes. As a quality control leader within the food industry, she became well versed in implementing and training resources on Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 9000 standardization, Software Development Lifecycle, and the adaptation of the Capability Maturity Model to the organization. John Mahoney is a vice president and distinguished analyst in the CIO research group at Gartner. Jerry Mechling is a vice president at Gartner Research focusing domestically and internationally on helping governments and their corporate and nonprofit partners with issues of strategic planning, work process innovation and implementation, governance, and information management and analysis. Dr. Mechling is also a recently retired lecturer in public policy at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he has written "Eight Imperatives for Leaders in a Networked World" (a series of policy papers for the Harvard Policy Group on Network-Enabled Services and Government) and "Finding and Funding IT Initiatives in the Public Sector" (a book by the Government Technology Press).

Rajesh Misra is a Director in KPMG’s Management Consulting practice and specializes in the area of Business Process Management. Over the past 20 years, he has helped organizations with their strategic business transformation efforts through technology and process enablement. He has extensive experience in architecting, designing, building and deploying BPM-based solutions to address some of the most pressing process optimization and compliance challenges. His expertise includes business process improvement (BPI), business modeling, business process management systems (BPMS), business process optimization, and establishment of the Process Competency Centers. His areas of interest cover next-generation BPM, cloud computing, enterprise architecture and complex event processing among others.

In his role as research director with Gartner's application development and architecture team, David Norton supports clients by developing and delivering quality and timely research.

Elise Olding is a research director in Gartner's Program and Portfolio Management (PPM) group. Prior to that, she spent four years in Gartner's Business Process Management (BPM) group. Ms. Olding provides research on a worldwide basis, advising clients on PPM implementation practices. Her areas of focus include organizational change management and communications strategies, emerging trends in employee engagement (such as gamification), and the intersection of disciplines, such as BPM with PPM and enterprise architecture.

Owen Panko serves as the Director of Global Analytics & Projects for the Dell Global Command Centers. In this role, he is responsible for the worldwide technology enablement, analytics, and process improvement efforts for the command center operations supporting Dell’s Global Support Services. Prior to his current role, Owen was a senior consultant in the Global Field Services and Americas Parts Logistics businesses where he led global technology and process improvement programs. Before joining Dell, Owen was a consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young specializing in business process & system integration consulting for the telecom, manufacturing, and hospitality industries.

Daryl Plummer is a managing vice president, chief of Research and chief Gartner Fellow. He is chief of research for cloud computing and a primary analyst covering multiple cloud topics, business process management, SOA and Web technologies. Mr. Plummer manages the Gartner Fellows Program, which is designed to allow senior analysts the opportunity to explore new research ideas and to elevate the Gartner culture and brand with clients. He is also chief of Research for emerging trends and interacts with clients on topics ranging from application development to enterprise architecture.

James E. Pokoj (Jim) is the Director of the Business Process Center of Excellence at Independent Health where he is currently active in collaboration with Business Process Owners and business units to identify opportunities for business process improvement, process automation or entire process re-design. Duties include leading a team of Business Process consultants who drive and implement business process design and improvement programs/initiatives; provide program/project planning, budgeting and oversight, and develop related operational policies and procedures across the enterprise. Jim brings 25 years of experience in various industries including: manufacturing, health care and state and federal government where he has performed in multiple roles such as IT developer, project manager, and business/IT consultant. In addition, he has experiences with the “delivery” of technology with roles of capability / offering manager, client delivery manager, and technical team manager. Prior to joining Independent Health in 2009, Jim was employed with EDS/HP for 23 years. He has previously presented at a Gartner Applications Development Summit in 2004, speaking on the topic of Applications Rationalization with the theme of aligning the applications portfolio to the Enterprise Process Model.

Bob brings over 20 years of experience leading the international marketing and branding efforts of software and technology companies at nearly every stage of development.

Bruce Robertson is a research vice president and distinguished analyst at Gartner, transitioning from enterprise architecture (EA) to business process management (BPM) research. Mr. Robertson focuses on BPM topics, including the BPM discipline and related roles, business architecture (and connecting BPM to EA) and BPM business cases, including metrics. Mr. Robertson also focuses on EA topics such as integrated solution strategies to leverage technology appropriately for applications, enterprise technology architecture and infrastructure planning process, and applied technology models such as technical patterns and services. He is co-author of "The Adaptive Enterprise: IT Infrastructure Strategies to Manage Change and Enable Growth" and "Enriching the Value Chain: Infrastructure Strategies Beyond the Enterprise." His expertise covers BPM roles, BPM metrics, EA, enterprise technology architecture, enterprise solution architecture, technical patterns, technical services, middleware, networking and identity infrastructure.

Dale is the Business Project Manager for the Integrated Material Information Management (IMIM) Initiative within Boeing GS&S. Prior to his current assignment, Dale served as the Supply Chain Site Manager on the Corpus Christi Army Depot project. Dale has over 26 years of experience within the Aerospace & Defense Services industry. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University and an MBA from Lehigh University.

Dr Michael Rosemann is Professor and Head of the School of Information Systems at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. This School received the highest ranking in this area of research in Australia and includes QUT’s Business Process Management Group, one of the largest BPM research groups in the world. Dr Rosemann is the author/editor of seven books, more than 180 refereed papers, Editorial Board member of ten international journals and co-inventor of US patents. His recently edited ‘Handbook of Business Process Management’ is the most comprehensive consolidation of global BPM thought leaders; his book ‘Process Management’ has been translated into German, Russian, and Mandarin. Michael’s PhD students have won the Australian award for the best PhD thesis in Information Systems in 2007, 2008 and 2010. He has been the Chair of the first International Conference on Business Process Management outside Europe (2007). Michael is founder and Chair of the Australian BPM Roundtable, one of the largest BPM Communities of Practice in the world. He co-chairs the Australian ProcessDays conference since 2002 and conducts an annual BPM seminar series through the major Brazilian capitals since 2009. Dr Rosemann delivered among others the invited keynote at the International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2008) and at the inaugural Gartner BPM Summit in 2011. His research projects received funding from industry partners such as Accenture, Brisbane Airport, Infosys, Rio Tinto, Queensland Government, SAP, Suncorp and Woolworths. Michael regularly provides advice to organisations from diverse industries including telco, banking, insurance, utility, retail, public sector, logistics and the film industry. He has been instrumental in the design of QUT’s Masters in Business Process Management. In February 2010, Dr Rosemann was appointed as a Visiting Professor at Viktoria Institute, Gothenburg, Sweden.

Malcolm Ross is the VP of Product Marketing at Appian Corporation. Malcolm has been directly involved in the implementation and development of enterprise BPM solutions for over 15 years. Malcolm is a frequent speaker and writer covering the application of BPM technology to solve real-world business problems. Malcolm received his BS degree in Computer Science with a minor in Actuarial Mathematics from Florida State University.

Steve Russell joined OpenText through its acquisition of Global 360 in July 2011. Mr. Russell joined Global 360 in March 2001 upon the acquisition of ViewStar Corporation from Avaya, Inc. Mr. Russell has been instrumental in providing leadership for all research and development and other activities throughout the organization. Mr. Russell has broad experience in managing and developing workflow and data-automation system software. Before joining OpenText and Global 360, he was chief technology officer of Avaya's Customer Relationship Management Division. Prior to Avaya, Mr. Russell served more than 10 years in management at ViewStar Corporation.

After studying chemistry at Hamburg, London, and Dortmund, Dietrich joined MARS, Inc.’s German subsidiary Effem, where he held various positions in R&D, procurement and supply chain management. In 2005, he accomplished an M.B.A. degree of Purdue University and joined McKinsey & Company as a Project Manager. Projects led include supply chain optimization and turn-around topics, installation of lean and robust processes across company departments, and development of corporate growth strategies. Since 2011, he works at Fielmann AG, the market-leading optician in Germany/ Europe, as Process Excellence Manager. In addition, Dietrich heads the corporate project management office.

Vic Shao is CTO at Green Charge Networks (GCN). Vic is a proven software development technologist, with in-depth knowledge of smart systems integration. His impressive career spans from being responsible for developing intelligent mobile networked systems at software giant Oracle and COO at MobileAria, Inc. to having created LBS Pros — a consulting company in enterprise workforce management solutions — applying mathematical algorithms and artificial intelligence to solving real-world optimization problems. Vic is well respected for his expertise relative to smart grid technology. He serves on multiple boards and is a contributing member to SAE, EPRI and NEC. Jim Sinur is a vice president in Gartner Research after a short stint with a BPM vendor. Prior to that, Mr. Sinur was with Gartner 15 years and helped establish the BPI/BPM areas at Gartner and is considered a thought leader. His research and areas of personal experience focus on business process improvement (BPI), business modeling, business process management technology (BPMT), processes for knowledge workers, process optimization business rules management (BRMS), and leveraging business applications in processes and goal-driven unstructured processes. Mr. Sinur was critical in creating the first Hype Cycle at Gartner, which has become a hallmark of Gartner analysis, along with the Magic Quadrant. He has been active in the rules, data and computing communities, helping shape direction based on practical experience.

As the Director of Business Technology Development with ENMAX, Shawn is as an ambassador for operational excellence, business agility, sustained innovation and leadership driving business value through collaboration and process based thinking. Jenny Sussin is a senior research analyst in the ITL Enterprise Software group of Gartner Research, with primary focus on social CRM.

Brian Toba has been with CME Group since June 2006. Since that time, he has taken on increasing roles and responsibilities. He currently serves as a Director in the Regulatory and Exchange Business Systems department in the Technology Division. His areas of responsibility include the management of the third party systems, which support all of the administrative divisions. In addition to his role in third party system implementation and management, Brian also manages the project portfolio, staffing and planning for REBS. This requires an understanding of the technology employed the business drivers of our projects, and the resource impact of various strategies to execute these projects. Prior to joining the company, Brian worked in various positions for a variety of Accounting, IT implementation and management consulting organizations Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Alan Trefler, is the founder of Pegasystems, and has served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since Pegasystems was organized in 1983. Prior to 1983, he managed an electronic funds transfer product for TMI Systems Corporation, a software and services company. Alan’s interest in computers originates from collegiate involvement in tournament chess, where he achieved a Master rating and was co-champion of the 1975 World Open Chess Championship. Mr. Trefler holds a degree with distinction in economics and computer science from Dartmouth College.

Kees van Mansom is a senior information architect at Be Informed, specialized in transforming information to knowledge and making this knowledge executable for different audiences. In this approach, documentation is a key factor, not as a static end product but as a dynamic knowledge solution that enables secure decision making and presents information based on the context and information needs of the end user. At Be Informed, Kees is responsible for the design and development of a knowledge platform for Be Informed employees, partners and clients.

John Verburgt has been with CME Group since June 2004. In August 2010, he was appointed Director of Business Process Management after a successful business base campaign for BPM. Currently, CME Group has three BPM projects planned to go-live in early 2011. Previously, John was the Director of Compliance and Controls, reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer. John’s initial role was to help the company address the compliance requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act, and his responsibilities grew to include more than 30 critical process areas. The CME Group Compliance and Controls Program has been consistently recognized as an industry best practice, both internally and externally by industry publications (Computerworld in February 2006, Business Finance in March 2007). In 2005, John implemented a certification process to effectively monitor and advocate improvement of the company’s internal controls. This process continues to provide support and visibility for executive certification of publicly filed financial statements. In 2007, John led the transition of Sarbanes Oxley assurance responsibilities from Internal Audit into the Finance Division. Prior to joining the company, John worked for seven years in various technology roles at McDonald’s Corporation. John earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from DePaul University and an MBA degree in finance from Loyola University in Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Wade Wallinger was first introduced to BPM when serving on Chevron Downstream & Chemicals global ERP consolidation project in 2005. While on that project he moved into a business deployment role and landed the process changes for Chevron’s business in Africa in 2008. From there he built a new BPM team within Chevron’s Global Supply & Trading business. The success of that effort led to his involvement in the business process design work for Downstream & Chemicals restructuring. He now leads its BPM practice, the Value Chain Optimization Center of Excellence.

Todd Warnell is a seasoned project and change management leader with over 10 years of large format retail and information systems transformation experience. His progressive career within Loblaw Companies has ranged from “Y2K” financial system conversions, to Retail Operations Management and Optimization, to his latest challenge of guiding the organization as Loblaw establishes and matures its’ Business Process Management, Data Governance and Business Intelligence capabilities.

Andrew White is a research vice president, and his primary research focus is master data management (MDM). He specializes in the drill-down topic of creating the "single version of the product" using MDM of product data. Mr. White has a strong background in supply chain management (SCM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and multienterprise collaboration. His roles include key initiative lead for information governance and MDM programs, as well as back-up agenda manager for information management, and he also chairs the U.S. MDM summits. Mr. White received the Gartner Thought Leadership Award in 2006 for his effort in pioneering Gartner's research in enterprise information management that led to MDM.

Gabe Zichermann is the chair of the Gamification Summit where top thought leaders in this burgeoning industry gather to share knowledge and insight. Zichermann is also an author, highly rated public speaker and entrepreneur whose book, Gamification by Design (O'Reilly, 2011)looks at the technical and architectural considerations for designing engagement using games concepts. His previous book, Game-Based Marketing (Wiley, 2010) achieved critical and industry acclaim for its detailed look at innovators who blend the power of games with brand strategy. A resident of NYC, Gabe is a board member of StartOut.org , advisor to a number of startups and Facilitator for the Founder Institute in Manhattan.
