How do I register?
You can register by visiting the
Registration page or by calling 1300 766 663 (Australia) or +61 2 9280 1295 (outside Australia).
What methods can I use to pay?
You may pay with a valid pre-purchased Gartner event ticket, credit card or request an invoice to pay via bank transfer or company cheque. A payment must be made prior to or upon entrance to the event.
What is the cost to attend?
Standard registration is AUD $3900 or AUD $3350 prior to 28 August 2009. Gartner clients may use a valid pre-purchased Gartner event ticket.
Is there a bulk discount for large groups?
A team package is available for groups depending on size. You can learn more about the team packages on the
Team Program page.
What is included in the full event price?
Full event registration includes access to conference sessions, ITxpo showfloor, keynotes, conference materials, breakfast and lunch, a special evening event, and an evening showfloor cocktail reception.
Cancellation/Substitution
What happens if I need to cancel?
If you or any of your registered delegates are unable to attend the Event for any reason, you may cancel your registration, in writing, up to 15 business days before the start of the event (no later than 26th October, 2009), and will receive either a refund of amounts paid to and received by Gartner or a return of a ticket if used for payment.
What is the 15 business day mark?
No refunds and no ticket returns will be made for cancellation after 26th October, 2009 or for non-attendance/no-show without at least 15-business days notice of cancellation or non-attendance.
Can an attendee substitute a colleague to avoid losing their registration fee/ticket?
You may, before the Event at no extra charge, nominate as a substitute delegate one person in respect of each registered delegate who is unable to attend, provided that:
- Only one delegate pass will be issued to each registered delegate and is not to be shared
- The substitute delegate must be from the same organisation that purchased the ticket
- You must advise Gartner in writing of any change in registered delegates
- Photo identification must be shown on collection of name badge at the Event
- Once on-site at the Event, name badges issued upon registration are for the sole use of the named registered delegate, and may not be shared or transferred.

Analyst Interaction
How do I sign up for an Analyst One-on-One?
One-on-Ones are available exclusively to paid, registered conference attendees and are not available to ITxpo Exhibitors or Exhibitor Conference Session Passes holders. Due to the high demand for these appointments, each attendee may reserve up to three (3) One-on-Ones during Symposium/ITxpo, each with a different analyst or consultant. Registration for analyst one-on-ones is available through
Agenda Builder.
Am I guaranteed the analyst of my choice in my One-on-One meeting?
All registered Symposium attendees have the exclusive opportunity to speak directly with up to three (3) Gartner analysts in private half-hour One-on-One meetings. Due to the high demand of particular analysts sign-up is on a first come, first serve basis.
How do I sign up for an Analyst/User Roundtable?
Analyst/User Roundtable sessions are available exclusively to paid, registered conference attendees and are not available to ITxpo Exhibitors or Exhibitor Conference Session Pass holders. Due to the high demand and limited availability
(up to 12 end-users per session) we recommend you register in advance for these unique sessions. Registration for analyst one-on-ones will open on the week of September 7th and is available through
Agenda Builder.

Deliverables
When will I have access to documentation?
A documentation key to access Gartner presentations from Agenda Builder will be provided approximately 10 days prior to the event via e-mail to registered attendees.
