Annette Jump is a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider research practice. In this role Mrs. Jump is part of the TSP Emerging Technologies and Trends team who research the emerging technologies and trends that are changing today's world and shaping the future. In her research, Annette strives to provide technology product leaders (Tech CEOs, General Managers, Chief Product Officers, Product Managers and Product Marketers) with unique, high-value research and indispensable advice on leveraging emerging technologies and trends to create and deliver highly successful products and services. Some of her research focus areas are the following areas: - Role of devices and AI in the smart workspace of the future. - Immersive experience markets (augmented and virtual reality): competitive landscape, market trends, vertical adoption and future development scenarios. - Human-machine interfaces and role of voice and vision in device interactions (Virtual assistants and computer vision in devices). - Personal technology market and major technology trends across devices, like PCs, tablets, phones, wearables (wristbands, smartwatches, smartglasses, VR-headsets) and personal robots and their adoption in business and consumer segments.
