Previously at Gartner, Mr. Davis was Senior Vice President of end-user programs and Senior Vice President of high-tech and telecom programs. Prior to these roles, he was Senior Vice President of strategy, marketing and business development, where he developed overall corporate strategy, as well as leading the strategy process for each Gartner business unit. He also led the corporate marketing function, where he oversaw corporate branding, public relations and market intelligence. He joined Gartner from McKinsey & Company, a leading management consulting firm, where he was a partner. During his 10-year career at McKinsey, he assisted industry-leading software and IT services clients addressing a variety of strategic and operational issues. He also led McKinsey's research on the IT industry, and his insights have been published in the New York Times, the Financial Times, CIO Magazine and the McKinsey Quarterly.
