Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Light served in management roles at Select Information and American Videotex Systems, providers of desktop productivity tools in the first wave of PC software, and of a preweb consumer information dial-up service, where he planned, led and controlled a variety of development and research projects. He has also managed Auerbach Publishing's line of computer-integrated manufacturing and quality assurance procedures publications, worked in a construction project office while in graduate school, and served as a Research Project Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
