John Kostoulas is a Vice President Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider (T&SP) research group focused on human capital management (HCM) technologies, processes and services. Mr. Kostoulas spends most of his time advising HCM technology and service providers of various sizes, from startup to established, across the world through published research and daily interactions. Topics include market opportunity, strategy, product roadmap, positioning, go-to-market and operations for HCM products and services. He also advises technology and service providers on how to address their challenges around talent, culture and capabilities, and how to build strong product teams. In addition, he supports HR, IT and other business leaders on decisions related to talent management and HR service delivery redefinition due to digitalization, impact of diversity, equity and inclusion, importance of employee experience, and profound changes in the workforce and the workplace. John is also the co-leader of the Software Market Community, a group of 30+ software market analysts, coordinating regular meetings and focused research initiatives on emerging technologies and market trends.
