Prior to this she worked in the Emerging Technologies and Trends group within Technology and Service Provider Research and Advisory at Gartner. Ms. Woodward's key areas of focus are AI, synthetic data, augmented analytics, analytic platforms, decision intelligence, data fabric, AI maturity and AI software market forecasting. Prior to becoming an analyst, Ms. Woodward was a consultant in data and analytics building data and analytics systems for healthcare, retail, manufacturing and telecommunications organizations.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Woodward led IDC's coverage of Big Data and Analytics in Europe, and headed the Worldwide coverage of Advanced & Predictive Analytics.
