Amy Teng is a Research Director in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider Research group. Ms. Teng's main coverage is microcontrollers (MCUs), wearable electronics and personal consumer electronics technology trends, particularly succeeding from her previous teardown experience, and consistently observing Taiwan-based ODMs and major electronic component suppliers.
Prior to transferring to Gartner's Semiconductors team, Ms. Teng was a Gartner analyst covering IT services, PCs and workstations in Taiwanese and Asia/Pacific markets for six years. Before joining Gartner, she worked at Acer for seven years, where she led the service information department, responsible for serviceability and usability reviews. Previous to this, she worked for Sailing Strong as Director of the Product Development department.
