Andrew Gianni is an analyst on the Enterprise Architecture and Technology Innovation team. He leads research on the the applied architecture practices of solutions and product architecture, enterprise architecture support for agile and product management methodologies, EA governance and assurance and enterprise architecture tools. Andrew focuses on bridging the gap between the Enterprise Architecture practice and the application delivery organization, ensuring that delivery teams have the architecture support, skills, and tools they need to support distributed decision making in a resilient digital enterprise.
Mr. Gianni has over twenty-five years of professional technology experience in the higher education, US healthcare payer and non-profit sectors. He spent the early part of his career as a web application developer and as an IT advisor to small non-profit organizations. The second half of his career shifted to enterprise architecture, where he helped create a solutions architecture practice at the University at Buffalo, SUNY and served on the EA teams at two different BlueCross BlueShield affiliates in solutions and enterprise architect roles.
