Andrew Phillips is a Team Manager in the Tech CEO Research Practice. Mr. Phillips manages analysts that provide research and advisory services to smaller technology vendor organizations on product strategy, customer acquisition and launch, business performance management and corporate development.
In recent years Mr. Phillips has worked with multiple executive level technology managers worldwide to transform their engagement with Gartner, further benefit from Gartner's Research methodology and increase their return on investment.
Mr. Phillips has more than 30 years of high-technology industry experience spanning field applications engineering, sales and distribution, franchise management, managing global technology teams and the semiconductor industry. Based in Beijing, China and Taipei, Taiwan, from 2011 through 2018, he advised Chinese private and state owned enterprise decision makers and Government policy makers. He also advises technology clients on China market entry strategies.
Mr. Phillips has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and hi-tech industry. Prior to joining Gartner, he managed semiconductor chip design-ins for semiconductor distributor SEI Macro and was responsible for commercial and technical promotion for major European, U.S. and Japanese semiconductor vendor products.
