Animesh Gandhi's research focuses on Life Science (LS) organizations critical commercial priorities. Mr. Gandhi helps CIOs and their teams leverage technology and best practices to enable and optimize prelaunch planning, marketing execution, campaign management, sales enablement, market access, customer relationship management, digital therapeutics, and revenue management. He also helps them with the associated information management, master data management, analytics and AI central to success in all LS commercial functions. His research encompasses commercial IT strategy and vision, multiyear roadmaps, reference architectures, vendor evaluation, cost optimization, and business process refinement, implementation approaches and support models.
Mr. Gandhi has over 22 years of experience in the Life Science industry, specializing in data, analytics, and Information technology. He has been successful both within and consulting to the LS industry working at the intersection of business and technology. He has a deep understanding of Life Science organizations commercial business models and sources of competitive advantage. Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Gandhi led commercial business technology at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals where he successfully created and executed strategic technology plans in support of the company's growth. He led technology work streams for multiple product launches, enhancing the company's commercial capabilities through modernized technology platforms that extended the reach and impact of digital channels and enabled centralized information access to drive competitive advantage. He also worked with digital therapeutics and marketing teams to identify solutions that fulfill needs of the U.S. market. Previously, he led an analytics and technology division of a life sciences company and helped organizations create and institute innovative analytical decision-making processes and solutions in a vendor product management role.
