Annette Jump is a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider research practice and part of the TSP Emerging Technologies and Trends team. In her research, Mrs. Jump strives to provide technology product leaders with unique, high-value research and indispensable advice on leveraging emerging AI technologies and trends to create and deliver highly successful products and services. Some of her research focus areas are the following areas:
- Conversational AI and conversational agents, like virtual assistants, chatbots or digital humans, assessing market adoption and impact, as well emerging use cases.
- Emerging technologies, like NLP/NLU, neural machine translation, synthetic voice, investments and upcoming innovations in those technologies
- Smart robots: emerging use cases, technology developments, investments and market impact
- Human-machine interfaces and role of voice in device and IoT interactions.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mrs. Jump worked as a Product Manager for a number of international FMCG companies in Russia. Her main responsibilities involved coordinating market research, developing brand strategy and maintaining multiple liaisons with different external agencies.
