Ben Seesel is a Vice President, Advisory on the Gartner Financial Services Team. His current work focuses on helping banking IT and business leaders pursue digital business transformation; profit from emerging technologies including generative AI, hyperautomation, and cloud; maximize frontline sales effectiveness; and cultivate key technology and business talent. He works with technology and business leaders at banks and financial services companies globally. Over his 22 years at CEB and now Gartner, he has advised senior banking executives on issues including the adoption of new digital business models; strategies to support banking clients through the COVID-19 pandemic; how to deliver a differentiating digital experience for banking clients; emerging technology trends reshaping financial services; how to maximize returns on investments in hyperautomation; the adoption of new virtual methods to engage financial services customers; the development of growth-oriented strategic plans to prepare for the future of the banking industry; emerging trends and use cases for generative AI in financial services; and success levers to accelerate change management within financial services firms.
Prior to joining Gartner's Financial Services Practice, Ben spent many years in research, advisory, and business management within CEB, now Gartner's Strategy Practice. He received a degree in History from Haverford College.
Over the past 22 years he has worked in research, advisory, and product management at CEB, now Gartner, spanning across the company's financial services, strategy and R&D practices.
