Bianca Francesca Granetto is a Managing Vice President in Gartner's CIO Research, in the Midsize Enterprise group, where she manages a team of cross-functional analysts addressing the needs of the CIO, I&O and Application leaders working in the context of midsize enterprises. She personally covers business and digital transformation and related digital strategies. Ms. Granetto joined Gartner in July 1998 and worked initially with Gartner Consulting, moving to Research in the first quarter of 2007. She is based in Milan, Italy.
Her team's research contributes primarily to the following key initiative for 2019: Midsize Enterprise IT Leadership. She and her team help contextualize Gartner research for the CIOs, I&O and Application Leaders in Midsize Enterprises make better decision, reduce risk and achieve business success. The team's research covers Business Transformation, Leadership and Talent Management, Application Strategy, Technology Innovation and Infrastructure and Operations Strategy.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Granetto worked for nearly three years at Accenture, spending her last year in the knowledge management (KM) team for Europe and Latin America. There, she developed KM skills and, in particular, was responsible for the implementation of a specific KM strategy that included training and workshops. Before joining Accenture, she worked in Andersen's human resources department for two years and was responsible for staffing projects within the telecommunications portfolio for the Southeast region.
