Colleen Greene is an Associate Partner with Gartner Consulting's Healthcare and Life Science practice. Ms. Greene's great passions are leveraging big data and technology to solve some of healthcare's most complex problems and developing innovative models of care. As an executive who has worked for healthcare organizations ranging from an artificial intelligence startup to one of the nation's most prominent health systems and a health insurance company in the Fortune Top 50, she has honed her expertise working across the payer, provider, life science, and technology vendor spaces. Now as an associate partner at the world's leading Business & Technology Insights company, she provides technology strategy consulting to organizations across the healthcare, life sciences and biotech industries.

Ms. Greene has experience in enterprise data and analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), machine learning operations (MLOps), business intelligence (BI), digital transformation, utilizing emerging technologies such as intelligent automation (IA) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), IT strategy, and cost reduction. Her experience includes performance improvement, transformation initiatives, Population Health Management (PHM) strategies, gap analysis, Care management (UM/DM/CM) and Quality management, value-based care, fraud analytics, HEDIS and risk-adjustment strategy.

Previous experience

Most recently, Ms. Greene was the global general manager for healthcare and life sciences at DataRobot, where she enabled healthcare enterprises to harness the power of AI and their existing teams to succeed in today's Intelligence Revolution. She was responsible for the go-to-market strategy, P&L, messaging, and thought leadership. She also led several AI executive courses as well strategy and roadmapping sessions for healthcare and life science leaders. She has traveled the globe speaking at conferences about revolutionizing healthcare with artificial intelligence and machine learning.

She served as CTO & Senior Vice President for Business Operations at a multistate, ambulatory intensive care practice where she led several departments to develop analytics and a secure, reliable IT infrastructure. She also led the development of multiple value-based reimbursement models in this role earning the company additional millions in revenue. Led HITRUST (HIPAA compliance) certification.

At Anthem Inc., she served as Director of Population Health and Emerging Technologies where she led multiple enterprise-level initiatives, to include the development of new products, programs, and contracts to reduce healthcare costs and improve value-based metrics. She created and managed the new value-based contracts, led a clinical data aggregation project, led an interoperability project with bi-directional data feeds between payer and providers, a digital transformation effort, and build of the company's first data lake. She also developed and managed multiple contracts with technology vendors and Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).

Her early career experience at Johns Hopkins in actuarial analytics and medical economics, clinical analytics, predictive modeling, cost savings analysis, program evaluation, and HEDIS & quality analytics, prepared her to take on various strategic roles centered on value-based reimbursement. She has also served in management, finance and technology.
