Cristina Gomez serves as the Vice President for the Gartner Sales Leadership Council, leading the Sales Research Practice. In her current role, she oversees the peer and practitioner, expert analysis and quantitative modelling teams. Her teams conduct research projects on sales topics ranging from sales talent management, sales operations, sales effectiveness and enablement, to Challenger selling. Most recently, Cristina's research has focused on buyer enablement and driving account growth.
Prior to joining Gartner in 2012, Ms. Gomez worked as a consultant providing strategic and economic advising to fortune 500 clients in a number of industries including healthcare, media and entertainment, oil and natural gas, and financial markets. Ms. Gomez specialized in applying microeconomic theory and econometric modeling to solve business problems. She also has expertise in executing large scale change management initiatives. Ms. Gomez is fluent in Spanish and Italian. She resides in Washington, DC.
