Cynthia Phillips is an expert in the Strategic Portfolio Management team of Gartner Research. Dr. Phillips specializes in industrial and organizational psychology including cyber-psychology (i.e., human experience in technology-mediated environments) and workplace aspects such as creating a culture of innovation, leading change, thriving through conflict, increasing employee commitment, avoiding burnout and cultivating growth mindsets. She also covers best practices for E/PMOs and project management. Prior to joining Gartner, Dr. Phillips led global PMO, operational excellence, and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) teams to transform value delivery across a variety of functions including Human Resources, Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Dr. Phillips enjoys supporting clients at the intersection of people, processes and culture to effect positive change.
