Emily Connelly's research focuses on Finance Transformation. She works with transformation leaders and other senior finance leaders to conduct in-depth research on how organizations can accomplish their transformation goals.
Her prior experience in Gartner's Finance Practice includes leading research on Autonomous Finance and being the Shared Services key initiative leader.
Emily comes from The Advisory Board, where she served as a Senior Consultant in Research. In that role, she led research for a hospital and health system C-suite audience. She primarily covered hospital and health system strategy, margin management (cost control and revenue growth), and risk-based payment. She also has public speaking experience at Advisory Board national meetings and client on-site presentations.
Prior to her time at The Advisory Board, Emily worked at the Partnership for Public Service where she researched government management and effectiveness.
